Sorry we played a lot of soccer today so I don't have a ton of time. my bad. I have to improve my fútbol skills so these ticos will stop bullying me🙈

But one thing that caught me this week was that even though I don't understand a lot of what is going on such as lack of success sometimes or lessons that fall through. There is this fire scripture that kinda describes my life.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Although sometimes it seems hard and makes literally zero sense to me. I know Christ will always lead me through and He has a plan of happiness that fits me. And I know it fits you too.

Um, so yeah, I slept in today until like 9:30 so, I already have like no pday left. My b.

But this week has been different. I learned that God always provides for His children. All this week were instances where I felt I would be stopped in the work by different things such as frustrations with people I'm teaching or working with, not having a sweatshirt because I only have one and a member was washing it (that day was...interesting) or money issues. But even with problems as small as these, relying on God made it alright, prayer and always seeking to continue doing what I thought was ya know right, always got me through. I know you have times when it looks pretty glim. When you have problems a lil bigger than having only one sweatshirt. And I KNOW God is there especially for you in those moments, he'll carry you through them if need be, to help you to becoming as He has planned for you. Truly happy. Even though you may not see it sometimes.

Bro...what is cold

Truthfully, guys I miss 120 degree weather in AZ. It's so flippin sad. When I first got here it was dang chilly. Not like snow, sorry if you have snow that's tough. But like I'm not built for the cold. Like I grew up in a desert what do you want from me.

Honestly though, like, it's not bad, it's kinda nice to be able to feel at least a little like the winter here. I can finally drink hot coco and have it be normal so that's kinda dope.

I found this super dope verse in mosiah that I have been working on. It's in mosiah 3:19 

'For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.'

And I found that if I can just give up trying to be the best for the work of God, everything just turns out alright. Because then the spirit can truly work through you, it can teach you and help you with love. Which is just super lit so that's what I'm trying to gain, would recommend it highly.

🏙️Going city🌇

Welp, I'm headin out again. Had a good run on the east coast. But now I'm headin to the city. To the main city of Costa Rica in San José. A place called ipis. I...literally have no words to explain what I'm feelin right now. This mission is so weird man. I'll let you know how it goes🙂

And sorry this is real short. But I just know that Jesus loves you. In the mountains that you walk up, He is right there next to you.
